With a handpicked team of seasoned advisors and coaches, we serve as catalysts for breakthrough change, partnering with ambitious founders, CEOs, and their investors to navigate the complex challenges of rapid scaling. In recent years, my engagements have increasingly involved larger teams and more complex challenges. It has become standard practice to bring senior advisors and executive coaches to work alongside me. Now, Bachmann Catalyst becomes the new home for these collaborators, with me as their host.

These colleagues are both experienced facilitators and catalysts of change, as well as seasoned business leaders who have navigated the same challenges my clients face today. Many are trained coaches too. This new home provides a dedicated space to highlight the incredible expertise and experience of this team, ensuring that our clients benefit from a wealth of knowledge and insight, all under one roof.

Outgrowing Coaching: Embracing Responsibility

Becoming a father has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. It has fundamentally changed my relationship with responsibility and my perspective on entrepreneurship. As a father, I am deeply aware of my influence and the weight of the responsibility that comes with it. This awareness has naturally extended into my work.

In the past, I distanced myself from the outcomes of my coaching engagements, viewing my role as one of guidance rather than influence. But today, I can no longer look away or claim I am just the coach. My work holds tremendous power to shape the trajectory of businesses and the lives of the people within them. And with that power comes a profound responsibility—one that I am fully willing and ready to embrace.

Taking responsibility this way requires diligence, energy, and ethical commitment that goes far beyond the visible aspects of my work. For every hour spent in a coaching session, there are countless unseen hours of reflection, preparation, and collaboration. I work closely with exceptional facilitators, coaches, and advisors to ensure that every engagement is handled with the utmost care and that we create a safe, transformative space for everyone involved.

I am personally involved in every mandate. I didn't create Bachmann Catalyst to be an agency that outsources its core work; instead, it remains a deeply personal and hands-on endeavor. I believe in making entrepreneurship more human, approaching every engagement with empathy, respect, and a profound understanding of the creative and entrepreneurial journeys.

A Personal Note

This shift also has a personal dimension: Over the past year, my personal brand has expanded to include more facets. I’m now more deeply involved in music, with the release of my latest album. I’m also writing more actively, contributing op-eds to outlets like Sifted, Capital, and Wirtschaftswoche, and speaking on stages to share my insights on entrepreneurship and leadership.

Coaching remains the dominant part of my business and will continue to be a central focus for the foreseeable future. At the same time, moving my coaching work under the brand of Bachmann Catalyst gives me this space within my personal brand for these other creative and professional pursuits. I hope to live a life of full expression, and this move is one of the practical ways I’m doing that for myself. I’ll be writing more about that soon, so stay tuned.
